Istanbul Collection

The color way of this collection captures the spirit of Istanbul, Turkey. The cornflower blue represents the remarkable Sultan Ahmed Mosque, widely known as the Blue Mosque; the deep red or beet color is reminiscent of sumac, a spice commonly used in Turkish cuisine; and the turquoise represents the waters surrounding the city, which is split by the Bosphorus Strait. When the pattern was created, it looked somewhat like spray paint art which is reminiscent of the many beautiful street murals throughout the city.
