Bologna Collection

Bologna, Italy has been nicknamed by the locals as "la dotta, la grassa, la rossa" or "the learned, the fat, and the red". Bologna is home to the oldest university in Europe, hence the learned or studious reference. Given it's a university town, there are several students that inhabit the city giving it a more youthful feel. La grassa or the fat one due to the rich cuisine in the region. And the red for the red rooftops throughout the city. But some argue the red is symbolic of the city's political history.
